damn plastic

#1 Post by Darkflare »

Ok, the problem is that I have a 2289 and when adjusting the sites the elevation screw stripped the plastic of the breach, only the first mm or so because if I screw the screw in without the metal bit it still goes in tight... I don't know how the hell it stripped because i wasn't tighting it that hard... yeah anyway, I was wondering if anyone has had this problem and knows how to remedy it? A longer screw would prolly do it. anyone know if i can get one that will fit from home hardware or a store like it?

I also don't have a credit card currently so that would make ordering a part from crosman harder, do they take anything other than credit cards... I could just order a new rear site for when I get my steel breach in a few months... then again I may just get the red dot... it's all about how much it costs. money is limited currently

Thanks,

~Iain

Just use some good epoxy. Let it dry and rescrew.
