Just got back from my friends shop, we made a new muzzle brake for my .177 QB 78, it's not completly finished I still need to make a dovetail groove to install my globe sight on it , we should receive the .375" x 60 degree cutter hopefully tomorrow. I'm also waiting to receive a 853 rear aperture sight that I hope will fit on the QB.

New Muzzle brake
We made it , which really means that I watched my friend turn it on a lathe ,then we ( he) cut the dove tail 3/8" x 60 degres to accept the globe sight . It not all that hard to make in aluminium 1" stock , turned inside just a little bit larger then the diameter of the barrel , then taper the rear down, the exit hole is about .030 larger then the pellet size. It's drilled and taped for a set screw to hold it on the barrel , if you don't fasten on, it flies off when you shoot the gun This is the second one we 've made ,both on a QB
