Why haven't they thought of solenoids?

It looks like the Drozd uses the Daystate system. It would be informative to do a patent search of the two designs.

Daystate used a solenoid to actuate a poppet valve. It looks like the same is happening in a Drozd. Would someone be so kind as to open up their Drozd, take a few pictures and post them or e-mail them to me?

That Drozd Diagram is pathetic. Where are parts 37 and 38? what is inside the valve?

And what would be the point of building a sear tripper?
