Drozd scope rail

#1 Post by scruffie »

Quick question that I can't easily seem to find answer on net for. All ads state the Drozd has a scope rail but doesn't tell me what fits it? 3/8 or 11mil. etc Just want to be prepared. Thanks in advance. R.C.

Just found site that states it's a standard 3/8's dovetail. Can anyone confirm this

Yes it comes with a very short rail for the 3/8" (11mm) scope rail... Many people mount red dot sights ont he Drozd.

My Tasco Red Dot is mounted on the existing rail...the rail is a bit short but it works.

Thanks guys, that clears it up was a little confusing as some info I was getting said a weaver 5/8 mount. On my big bores yes, but on a glorified BB gun it didn't make any sense

A red dot scope is just another way of aiming, it offers no magnification. Just a cool factor.

Personally I have a red dot and a laser on mine...thats not too bad...Scoping it with a conventional magnified scope is just silly...

I installed a Tasco RedDot on my Drozd as well. I secured the RedDot as far forward as possible on the scope rail.

I need a new 3V battery though, forgot to turn it off. Silly me.

They have one for both. Thought you bought one already?
1x40RDN Redot is a integral mount for a 3/8 base

1x40RDW Redot is integral mount for 5/8 weaver base

Take no offense but OMG that's the funniest thing I've seen in awhile. Why the heck you you waste a scope by mounting it on a Drozd???? Gotta be better things to do with it???
