SS Bolt for 22XX

#1 Post by sniper »

I wanted to make a bit perfect of bolt & handle. I tried the brass ... hmm... it's ok I guess but what about Stainless Steel ... now that's different. The main objective is to fit good and better functionality than the oem part beside the bling bling .... no need to shine SS, it's always shiny looking.

I found the bolt handle is problem in most cases that they don't fit correctly when pressure apply in the receiver it would kick back therefore lost in pressure perhaps is very small but "other makes" are even worst than the oem if use with CR Steel breech. This needs precision works. Also the oem o-ring is kind of loose and that is a concern ......

I tested with a 2240 out of the box and the result is amazing .... maximum increase in velocity is 8.1 fps.

Congrats on the nice work sniper.....your R&D on this one looks like a winning combination....snug fitting bolt handle has to account for some increased fps....
I'm happy to hear that it's another great product made in Canada..... :partyman:

Hey, don't hate. It releases negative energy, which is bad for everyone.
