438 fps with pellets
482 with BB
from Crosman factory literature

Most Mark I's won't do 450.
Factory says 427 fps

One of my .22 MarkI's
MatchPell 384.385,384 high power
RUKO 389 391 high power

Another one did:
Copperhead 380,373,325,379
CP 352,344

A few years ago I bought seven Crosman Mark1 pistols to tinker with. Canadian Tire once sold them so there are lots around.

All of my Mark1 pistols shot 400-410fps with 14.3gr Crosman WCs at 68F temps. With a heavier hammer spring the velocity would go to 435fps. With a bit of tinkering I got one to 450fps. Shot count drops to around 22 per powerlet when you are looking for power.
For indoor paper punching you can take the Mk1 down to around 365fps (14.3gr) and get over 60 shots per powerlet.
