Hey, don't hate. It releases negative energy, which is bad for everyone.

Yes, but Beeman doesn't make anything, they just import stuff. At least that's what I've heard.

Beeman 1041 = Beeman GH650 = Norica AG62 Sport.
Norica makes them all in Spain.

Beeman makes a PROFIT.

Beeman is an importer. They import all sorts of airgun products and many are re-named as "Beeman". They import Weihrauch airguns, Norica airguns, Webley airguns (not now), Williams aperture sights, etc. Even their catalogues are often contracted out to non-American companies. The 1999 Beeman catalogue was printed up here in Canada. The latest catalogue was printed in China.

the Beeman 1040 and 1041 are made in china. I have a 1041 and it says on the left side of the breech "made in china" . It also has a "sporter" trigger, which is crisp and rather light when oiled. not quite as nice as the hw or slavia triggers but close. on the other hand this is the most solid hitting and lightest springer i own. The scope NEVER comes lose or needs adjusting. It looks realy nice too. when you shoot it it sounds and feels like a much higher priced gun, no twang or tink just thwak. Its much more powerful than a modded slavia when its factory.and pin point accuracy. all i've done to mine is a moly lube and silicon seal oil on the seal now it will shoot straight through 2 smaller size Tim Hortons cans. the exit wound on the second can looks like I shot it with my modded 2240. Id have to say that regardless who makes the beeman 1041 it is the best rifle for your money avalible to buy without speicial orders and such..

I had a 1041 and I'm pretty sure it said "Made in Spain" on it. I don't have it any more though so I can't check. As for being the best rifle for your money, I think that depends on how much you paid for it :) It is nice, but I don't think it's worth the $250 + tax I paid for it at CT. Mind you, I never tried tuning mine at all so I probably didn't see its full potential. I regret selling it now!

Perhaps that was the older one, I had one to work on it too and it was made in Spain, may be now it's made in China or perhaps there are half and half in the market still.
Replacing the spring it was a pain because the pin that held the spring it's the same pin that held the trigger, need to make a special tool to get it out.

I got mine at CanadianTire in Oct 2004 for $249.99 + taxes
On top of the receiver on some kind of sticker under the scope it says BEEMAN 1040 series
On the side of the barrel it says Made in Spain
And the Beeman 4x32 scope on it ,it says made in China.
Out of the box i had to adjust the focus on it.
And after 1800 the scope is still bang on.
After i greased the inside of the trigger things everything is soo smooth , it is scary.
