Just got this Crosman 600 in the mail today. Wow...what a super fun airgun to shoot!!!! This gun is going to cost me a fortune in powerlets and pellets!!!!

Why can't they make them like this anymore???? Doubt that any Crosmans made today will still be around in 35+ years.

I got it from Marvin 'The Airgun Guy'. The one at D&L was nicer but it was also CAD$150.00 more. It's still at D&L as far as I know. If anyone wants pics of it, let me know.

a smooth beautiful single action...the trigger weighs in about 3lbs. it's not the mickey mouse revolver style of modern 'semi-automatic' Crosmans and Umarex products.

As stated by a member on the Crosman Forum:

I can't express how great it makes me feel to see that there is a constant flow of quality, used Crosman 600's that are constantly turning up on the top two auction sites. If there is anyone out there that is on the fence about buying one of these engineering marvels, just send me an email and I can certainly list the reasons why I enjoy them so much and can also provide insight into how to make them even more fun than the Crosman factory did so long ago.

There is no doubt in my mind that liability concerns are what shelved this superior pistol and although I could go off on a rant about that sad fact, I won't.

Just as one well known airgun dealer posted on his site, “This is the finest semi-auto ever produced short of the $1000 plus German/Swiss/Austrian five shotsâ€Â
