Projects you have planned?
I'm just wondering what kind of projects you guys have planned (airgun or otherwise). Mine:
A 1377. With wood (grips and forearm), a really light valve spring, a heavy hammer spring, a hammer polish, a normal trigger and sear polish and lube, and a trigger shoe.
Finish my 2240. Needs a Tasco 3-9x40, and a bulking.
A CZ631. With the mods RM422 did to his.

Hey, don't hate. It releases negative energy, which is bad for everyone.

And now to let the big secret out of the bag Two friends and I have went into partnership on a project that will be of interest to some of you.
We have purchased plans and are now gathering materials to build a copying machine that makes exact duplicates of things like gun stocks and grips, canoe paddles, axe handles ect, ect.
Constuction should start in a couple of weeks.

I'm assuming you're referring to a CNC router?
I bought one last year.......sold it in a hurry. For the stuff I do, it had two problems:
1st: My business was cut in half as soon as word hit the street that my stuff wasn't "hand" made. Clients told me that if they wanted a machine produced piece of wood, they'd buy it from Ikea.
2nd: Wood is not a constant. Unlike metal, which is pretty much universal, wood has grain, figure, tone......personality if you will. A machine cant see a gentle swirl or a hint of flame and say "hey, i should turn this this way, and cut this here". It just mindlessly grinds out whatever the 1's and 0's tell it to.
Good for production work though......find a source for grey laminates and I'll give you some gunstock business.

My latest project -> Baikal IZH-61 from .17 to .22
Hi everyone,
One of my crazy ideas is to convert my Baikal IZH-61 to a .22 air rifle. At the moment, all I am doing is getting measurements of barrel length and diameter. Just picked up a micrometer for measuring the barrel diameter. The 5 shot magazine will accept flat head .22 pellets only. There is not enough width to accept pointed pellets. I have tried drilling one magazine a mil wider to see if a .22 pellet sits ok in the hole and there will not be any problems with it.
So anyway, still in the search for a .22 rifled barrel to replace existing one.
Let you all know how it goes with the project.
Take care,
NIGHTHAWK

i got a few things on the go . a 9mm qb 78 conversion kit ,got one done for my cr160 . i'm also working on a hw45 style gun ,but it's all steel and much better made, with a heavier spring and longer barrel and piston . hoping for 500f/s+ in .22 cal .
i just finished making up some 9mm barrel for some new hpa and working on a 40cal and 50 ,i ran out of steel so i'm on hold for a bit .
i may have to quit my job and go with my hobby . i don't know of any one building bigbore in canada, to bad .

a 9mm or 50 cal. (havent made up my mind) multi pump rifle. should, by my calculations, get good power from around 20-30 pumps. i'll try and moderate the pumps to keep it legal... maybe with a check valve in the piston or something. an adjustable one
thing is i need to save up and buy a small lathe. any suggestions?
