I think the second gen. is the one with that push button at the front of the co2 cap. If I'm not mistaken that's the one Randy got.

Mine is the vesion that the CO2 bulb goes in neck first, then you screw the end cap down (has a hole in it so you see the large end of the bulb) then cock and fire. I have now converted to bulk charging as it is WAY cheaper!

Saw that pic but couldnt do much with photo ed to get details. Randy and I have the first gen. His is a little different in that it is the Canadian production.
