Hey, im new to the forum...

my name is Allan, im 15 and i live in London Ontario. The only rifle i currently own is a Cr. 760. i am hoping to get a Beeman GH500 for a bit of plinking/ pest controll

Welcome to the forum! A good choice for a next purchase is a CR2240. It can be modified a lot. Mine is currently modified into a rifle with a 24" barrel, scope, and steel breech. It's very acuratte too, but it uses Co2, so it's not a good choice for hunting in the cold. Here's a link to what my 2240 can do; there's pic and target results:

That's a rifle you got there... The legal definition of a carbine is a shoulder arm with a barrel of 22" or shorter. :?
