ok, im going with a beeman 1041 from can tire. i will order a stronger spring from a gun smith, hope to get this puppy blaazin. ill tel you how it goes.

are you going with the scope combo? ive heard its not that good with the scope..... but good luck with that rifle, i want to hear what it can do (after mods lol)

no, i have a nice scope at home, im just getting the 169.99 one. should be awsome! does anyone know where i can get a more powerful spring to fit the beeman 1040? like, any online stores and such in ontario? or in canada?

loll, i could keep picking air rifles, but i really want to do some shooting! plus, i think it is beautiful as you said. and i could even get it shooting 850fps. that would be a niiicee gun. i am going to be my mom to go to Can tire tomorrow. while im there, what pellets should i think of pickin up? i think im going to try rounds or something.

STFU!! I thought rounds was some kind of game or something.... The pellets your thinking of are called domes. Get wadcutters. Those are the flat ones. Their accurate.

rounds/domes are the same thing. lol, at least thats what they call em on the american airgun forum. lol. who knows where these americans get their words from. lol

they're called domed or roundhead...but not rounds. Rounds are BB's but usually lead.

lol, i guess rounds was just my short form for roundheads which would be my strange way for saying domes?

I have the original spring which is GH650 spring if I can find it you can have
it for $60.00 but I must tell you it's not easy to install. The difficult part is to push the spring so it'll let go the trigger, if you're not careful it will damage the trigger spring but if you make a special tool from a socket wrench or steel tube it should be easy. If you happen to damage the spring the gun would fire by itself and that's the good time you would return it back to CT ....lol....

just the spring for 60 dollars? :shock: or the whole gun? i think im going to stick with the beeman, cause i can get a cheap spring from my friend. lol
