Got a couple of Fitco Scopes..NICE

#1 Post by Talontsi96 »

Hey guys, I just received two fitco scopes I ordered only two days ago. I got the 3-9X40LA and the 3-9X42L. Both illuminated. I really like them, the 40LA has a rubberized tough surface finish. I prefer the eye relief of the shorty (40L) though. They are definitelly worth every penny. One thing that is a little dissapointing though is I got the 30mm rings for the 40LA since thats the ring size that the specifications show and they were recomended by Fitco. But the scope is loose in thses rings even when tightened all the way. I guess I'll just put some padding in them and then tighten the scope in. I think regular 1" rings would have been better.

Hi Talontsi96,
Congrats with the new scopeS.

you're right I got a set of those mount too from Fitco and it doesn't come with 2 pieces of padding like the mount I got from Hawke, supposed to have paddings on them. Some stickers would do the job fine.

Next I like to try their long eye relief scope.

how close can you focus with the short 3x9l
can you see the crosshairs and target at a good range?
