QB-78 in Walnut

#1 Post by Jester »

Well it's finally done. As I was working on it I made a few changes from my original stock design, but it's more or less what I had planned.

QB-78 .22, RJ Band, Xisico Bulk, 3-9x50, full trigger valve and port tune. It is very accurate, and hits extremly hard (I'll post velocity when my chrony arrives)
Stock is Walnut finished with tung oil.

What do you think?

Looks a bit like Tiger wood.

Hey, don't hate. It releases negative energy, which is bad for everyone.

It is surprisingly light! I'm very happy with the weight as I was worried that the walnut would be too heavy. I haven't weighed it, but I would be quite happy carrying this gun around all day if I had to. (Sometimes I like to carry it around all day in my appartment... the girlfriend tends to get annoyed though :D )

Thanks for the compliments guys! This is my first attempt at a stock, so it is very motivating. I'll have to make more now
