do you think i should mod a 2240 into a rifle with steal breech 2289 hammer spring shoulder stock and a 24' barrel or get a high quality umarex gun....colt or Beretta?
guns i own are crosmen 357 kit, and a beeman 1040

Whatever you're more comfortable with: Modding, or having a gun that has AWESOME quality :D

I say get the 2240 and mod it yourself. It will be more satisfying, and you'll learn something along the way.

Suppose the question is do you want a potent rifle or a pistol?
Really if you want a rifle i would suggest a qb78. Since thats sort of what you are trying to make. Although the skeleton stock is cool

i really like the look of the qb78 but can you get them in Canada and how much? also would it be cheaper to mod the 2240 or just get a qb78.

To mod a QB, you don't need to buy anything extra because it's already a rifle. It's all how good you can work with your handskill.

To mod 2240, at minimum you got to spend 200 bucks before taxes and shipping and then you need your handskill.
