Ditto on that, It is single stroke pneumatic and has virtually no recoil, you have to learn to dance a tango with the Baikal. The barrel is machined lands and grooves whereas the Baikal is hammer forged, as well the Daisey has a very effective barrel weight. Most importantly the sights out of the box are just no comparison, in fact you will probably have to put a sight on the rear dovetails of the Baikal just in order to line up the two sights that come with it whereas the Daisy will frame in a penny at 10 meters.
