Here is is, finally finished. I took the palm stop off because although it did seem to help, it just looked too damn ugly!
I'm going to print a chart showing scope adjustment for different ranges and put it in the lens cover...
This gun also took it's first blood today. No, I don't mean the cat!!!
There was a pigeon sitting on the far post by the trees. It was too cold for my QB, so I took the shot from inside. Distance is 20.25 yards, one headshot brought it down. No I'm not posting a pic of the bird... there's too many dead pigeon pics already imo
This is at my mom's place - she had asked me to do some pest control (the pigeons) at her place while I'm here this week.

Sorry, scope is a Fitco 6-24x44 with finger adjustable turrets and illuminated mil-dot reticle. It works really well, definately worth the price (I want to get another one, but I don't know what to put it on!)
That reminds me, I left the reticle turned on!
Someone made the muzzle break for me, and it's painted black with primer and 4 coats of black engine paint (incase it gets too hot )
It is a rock mount bipod, and is secured to a swivel stud.

Easy answer to the question of what to put the new scope on is .....
Another QB of course!.....give sniper a call!.......
No I didn't have to aim higher (called hold over). The scope was actually already zeroed for 20 yards. It was quite convenient that the bird decided to perch itself exactly 20.25 yards from my position
The mil dots make hold over/under easy at different ranges for hunting. For target shooting I can adjust the turrets, once I record the settings for different ranges (I'm going to stick that info in the lense cover for convenience)
