Yeah, but we have a shortage of skilled employees in Alberta. And elbow room (aka room to swing a cat). Relatively low population with a large area = room to breathe (and we're only downwind of BC and downstream from nobody). Alberta is the place to be if you're sick and tired of overcrowded places.
Now if we could just thin out the rednecks and rig pigs a little bit it would be just peachy.
I spent 3 years in Montreal, Eastern Canadian weather sucks a mountain of "posterior" the size of an imperial star destroyer.
Keep in Mind that the geographical midpoint of Canada is just east of Winterpeg. Anything East of that is just that. . . East.

I neglected to mention that BC stands for Bring Cash.
Weahter in Calgary and Bannf should be absolutely lovely in May.
However, your Airguns will need to be securely loked up if you are going to Bannf. It is a National park and hunting/shooting of any kind is strictly forbidden (unless you are a park ranger, game warden or law enforcement official, and even then there's a lot of paperwork involved).
Your airguns sound like they would be PAL rated and you may have some. . .uh. . .difficulties getting them through customs without the proper paperwork.

Shpongle is a collaboration between Simon Posford and Raja Ram. Damned fine techno from your neck of the woods.
