Howdy

#1 Post by Clyde »

Nice site, interesting crowd :D I'm fifty-something and getting back into target shooting after a long hiatus. Have to admit my first love is firearms but feel a little like Rip Van Winkle....wake up one day and everybody is anti-gun and you need 3 different types of documents to transport  Took the safety course(s) and applied for a PAL but in the meantime picked up a couple of air pistols.....heck of a lot more fun. I have a 2240 and a 162EI, bad eyesight and shaky hands.

Welcome to the group! Are you planning to mod your 2240?

I found if you drink more beer the shaking stops and one thinks the eyesight clears. I know this because I can relate.

Thanks for the welcome Talontsi96 :) Scruffie....agree about the properties of beer .....makes me a better dancer too (and I don't dance) :D Unfortunately can't gauge the benefits as far as shooting goes......tend to look at it as a choice....I can handle a gun or I can drink, just not at the same time :)
