QB-78 Cleaning

#1 Post by P11 »

Hey, I just cleaned my QB using a Universal Gunslick Cleaning Kit. It improved my accuracy situation 100% and also increased fps slightly. I was wondering if using the Nitro-solvent is bad for the seals, I also use the gun oil included for the breech and trigger spring. Should I be using the oil for lubrication or should I be using 100% silicon oil?

Thanks

P11, nice going, cleaning barrel is one of the major success to accuracy and velocity.
Nitro would eat anything including seal.
Perhaps it would be better to use moly oil to lubricate trigger and sears.
