Folks tend to use Crosman parts to customize 2240's...both the barrel and stock are from Crosman.

Here's some rough prices from Crosman: stock $30, steel breech kit $36, 24" barrel $15 (from memory).

Are you sure you want a 24" barrel? That's pretty long without a forestock. Want a forestock? Then you get into some other issues, like how to attach it, maybe 2250-style? Just my opinion, but a 14" barrel is plenty long without some forward hand support and more barrel support. The gun's weight increases noticeably with just that 14" barrel and the steel breech. I say go to CT and try out a 2289, but pretend it doesn't have a forearm (pump handle) to see if you can imagine using a 24" barrel without a forestock. It may be fine for you if you have stronger arms than me (not unlikely!).

Now do the math yourselves for your own custom order. I would do them for you, but I'm not really that good at math in the first place...

EDIT: I forgot to mention I live in BC, so I didn't have to pay PST.
