Gecado rifle
Milbro Diana?
From the shape of the stock on the pictured 25, it seems to me that it could be a British Diana.
They were built by Millard Bros. in Scotland, using tooling confiscated from M & G after WWII.
Please advise - I've never seen a German Diana 25 with a stock like that one.

Yes, that's how it was, Frank. Thank you for reminding me, it was such sweet memory. I'll never forget the time I shot the 3 ft green snake while it was swallowing a frog half way, hanging from a branch at the side of the river in the jungle.airbuddy3 wrote:Sniper ,

not unlike the modern 24 .

Ross, I think you're right, one thing for sure if I remember correctly there was no slotted groove on the side of the forearm.RossB wrote:From the shape of the stock on the pictured 25, it seems to me that it could be a British Diana.

It's more like this diagram from chambersgunmaker:
Diana Stock
My nephew has a 25 with finger grooves but it has the rounded Wundheimer grip that is common to most of the German 25/27s.
I note that the pictured gun is squared off at the grip.
The stock shown also appears to be thicker than usual.
This indicates Milbro to me.
It looks a lot like one that I serviced last year for big Dave Dees.
