Accuracy at 100 yards.
At the cottage this weekend I decided to do some shooting for fun at 100 yards. I measured my pace length at 43" and went to a tree that was 87 paces from the front porch. I figure that this is a minimum of 100yards. I started shooting my HW97k at a pop can and went up one mildot at a time until I hit... 3 mildots. This thing could hit the can pretty much every shot. I decided to try my modded up 1377 pistol. When I figured out the hold over for the pistol which wasnt more than about 8-10 inches, at 30 pumps it was able to hit the can almost every shot. Luckily there was almost no breeze but still I was not surprised that the 97 was capable but the 1377 pistol really impressed me.

Before I got the steel breech and longer 16" barrel I was getting 700 fps plus at 30 pumps. I say plus because this was the number using the pc chrono method. When I have checked my figures against a real chronograph my results are an average of 12% low, so this could potentially equate to 784 fps. Now with the longer barrel and the steel breech installed the figures could be a little higher.
