B-26 Open Sights Elevation problem....

#1 Post by CZ-Sniper »

Hi folks,
I have a problem with the elevation adjustment on my B-26.... Even when turning the knob to make the elevation the lowest, it still shoots about 2.5" high (Tested from 20 yards)!

What could be causing this?

Thanks and good day,

CZ

Hey Sunny,

I extended the front sight as close to the end of the barrel as possible, and it still gives me the same high groups. My rear and front sights are perfectly alligned on the bullseye...

Thanks,
CZ

Simple solution to that:

1. use scope..........

2. use Beeman sport aperture sight / William sight.

id check see how straight the barrel is if its straight then try different pellets remember the gun chooses not you if that fails then you can recrown and make it shoot lower so your sites are not so far out of wack..
some times a crown is just whats needed, and looks can be very devieving so if it looks good it might not be but id try different pellets first before resorting to a recrown

moving the front site back if you want it to shoot lower ..not moving it forward ..its the oppositeof the rear site ..the lower you move the rear site the lower the pellet goes, higher the front site the lower the pellet goes ..
if that don't work .. as above go with a scope or just bend the barrel down a bit with a 2 by 4, easy to do.
good luck ..

I agree with sniper, try a Beeman sport aperture sight or a scope with adjustable A.O.

Or you could buy an R9... :D
