Help removing front site, Beeman 1040

#1 Post by Ace12GA »

Just picked up a Beeman 1040 today, already enjoying shooting it, so I want to mount some optics. I can see how to remove the rear site, but the front site is not obvious. I don't want to destroy it taking it off, so is there a safe way to remove it that anyone knows of?

Thanks.

soak it in hot water for a bit, then just pull it off. if that doesnt work... maby a bit of WD-40 and let it soak in.

just put some muscle into it and itll come off!
