Airgun that you regretted selling or not buying?

#1 Post by airgunfun »

Which airgun(s) do you regret selling or not buying when you had the chance?

For me, I used to do alot of gun shows in Southern Ontario for many years, I regret not even looking at airguns during that time. Had I did, I would have a sizeable collection of Crosman 600 and Mk.I & II pistols for cheap. I guess it's true that hindsight is 20/20.

Also, when I was a kid, I had a Crosman 38T and a Crosman Mk.I or II...I don't remember which. The 38T died as a result of severe neglect and the Crosman Mk. (whatever) died from a blown seal and sold off for virtually nothing.

Selling my HW35 S, selling my mint Crosman MK1 both when I was an adult, losing my Crosman 38T, losing my mint Crosman 45, both when I was a kid of course. But now I have a highly modified 2240 Carbine on HPA instead of CO2 shooting very hard, a highly modified Drozd running on HPA at 1200 rpm, and my Webley .22 Patriot cannon in the 900's

Pondering a Talon purchase?

Do you have this gun?

THe gun shouldnt require an introduction here. If you own this gun you have something special. I saw it at a friends place in Arkona ON. Made a trade more or less on the spot . He had my friend leigh clean it up and do the stock. It has a clear coat and is very blonde with a distict grain.
The bulk fitting is a tapped 150 endcap.
I got some stick on illuminated rifle sights for it and the gun was accurate within 25 yrds. It would tear apart cans in a few shots only. At 10 m the CTC was on average .5:ctc. Also at 10 m the 1100 would turn a .375 lead ball into the exact dimensions of a nickle.
Is also warm too.

HEY KIDS THE 1100 IS NOT A TOY WHEN USING .375 AMMO
For portability i chopped 4 inches off the barrel. it improved the balance and did not seem to affect the power.
Just so you all know they are actually very reliable.
4 yrs ago i did a wicked deal with leigh and parted with the gun.
I havent seen it since. I hope its ok.
