Scope rings that wont creep?

#1 Post by Wrong Way »

Hey all. I need a set of rings to mount a 1" scope onto a slightly undersized 3/8" dovetail (russian) that I can crank the hell out of so they won't creep with recoil (going on a .22/.410 over-under). I don't want to spend a million dollars and I want them here yesterday..........Any suggestions?

BKL double straps. The last set you will ever need. Not cheap.
From D&L, BKL factory direct, US dealers, etc.

that is a standard firearm a 22 LR with a 410 shotgun
under.......any good rings should fit....those gins don,t recoil the same as an airgun...a good set of millet rings should work just fine!

I almost picked up a set of Millets.......40 bucks though. Guess I might have to bite the bullet. I know the standard .22 rings weren't holding worth a damn when I started putting 3" slugs through the .410 bore.

the only way to stop it from moving if the rings will
not hold is to get it drilled and taped for a weaver rail ...then it will never move!
