I was in there a few weeks ago looking at what they had, they carry several PAL and NON-PAL air rifles and pistols. And not the canadian tire or walmart stuff either, I wish I new more about air rifle and pistol manufactures but they do carry Diana, other than that you would have to phone and ask them but had about 8 different pistols and about 15 rifles, with scopes, pellets, co2 cylinders etc. They seem to be moving in to the air rifle market. The last time I was in there was a few years ago and all they seemed to have was powder burners.

Just thought i would update that Gobles link. Its now http://www.gobles.ca

Anyone in the London area know of any good places to shoot? I am actually in the Aylmer area, but London is close enough, and better known to most people.
Just got into air guns and picked up a Hatsan Mod 55 from Gobles last week.
Im lovin it so far.

A lil off topic, but anyone know much about the Crosman Springmaster 795?
I dont know if i like the idea of the plastic barrel. I know there is a rifled steel insert, but the part attaching the barrel is still plastic. Just cant see that lasting all that long, or staying very accurate for very long for that matter.
But the people in here seem to be fairly knowledgeable with air rifles, so i figured i would base my decision on your advice.

Thanks in advance,

For about the price of a 795 , you can get much better rifles ..such as
the CZ 631 /630 from Home hardware , its a catalogue Item ..you order it and they call you 5 days later when it comes in :D
Don't be surprised if the clerk know nothing about them carrying airguns :D
You can also get a Quest 500x All wood and steel construction , accurate and highly moddable for about $100
The best airgun advise ..STAY AWAY FROM CTC :D

I was trying to figure out the difference between the Mod 35 and 55. I own a Mod 55, and absolutely love it!
When i looked at the 35 on Hatsan's website it looked just like the 55, and there didnt really seem to be any difference other than the stock being a bit shorter.
What else is different from the 35 to the 55?

I forgot to mention that the compression chamber size didnt matter to me on this gun. Only reason i say that is because i dont have my PAL, so even my mod 55 is limited to 495fps. The Mod 35 is rated at 600fps, and the 55 is rated at 1000fps. So either way the Mod 35 is prolly gonna have the same spring and everything as my Mod 55. So i would THINK it would still be 495fps. I should prolly look into that tho.

As far as weight goes, it is 6.6lbs for my 55, and 5.9lbs for the 35, so that shouldnt be too much difference. Barrel length is the same for both, stock is shorter by 3.5" on the 35 compared to the 55. That is prolly the only major concern.

Thanks for the speedy response by the way.

So i picked up the Mod 35 today. It was pretty much my only option since i had EXACTLY enough to buy it and nothing more. hehe
So far i have only shot it a few times (with the sound of my wife grinding her teeth on every shot), and i am almost convinced it is more powerful than my Mod 55. I might be completely wrong, but it seriously seems like it has more power. Tomorrow i plan on testing it a bit to compare the two guns.
Eventually i plan on fixing up the 2289G and adding it back to the tiny gun collection i have now. :)
