What next?
I have two airpistols, the Weihrauch HW 40 and HW45. The HW 40 wears a red dot device, the HW45 open sights. I do target shooting at 24 feet distance in my basement, almost every day. I enjoy both pistols immensely, their quality and feel, but most of all I like that my shooting results are very satisfying and continue to improve. Both pistols are of such different character, which doubles my shooting enjoyment.
I am doing some idle dreaming and wonder what you experienced airgunners think. If I were to buy a third pistol of quality but different again in shooting character from my two Weihrauchs, what would you look for next – aside from those top of the line Olympic pistols?
Your thoughts are appreciated.

I heard the Baikal IZH-46m is a joy to shoot with match-type qualities, and for a very reasonable price...

Calibre .22; at 24 foot distance my offhand 5-shot groupings are usually between 20 to 25 mm, but recently I have been getting groups around 18 mm.edholton wrote:well you have the 2 finest pistols you can get in there respctive types....you only way you get nicer and different in an pcp style target pistol in my opinion. what cal is the hw-45?
I would suggest a BSA Scorpion! I know where you can get one but it will cost you!!! Sorry inside joke!Like it was said earlier you have the 2 best pistols out there. If I was you Ozzie I would seriously consider the IZH46m.Its very acuurte and quite reasonably priced.I have one so if you ever want to try it just let me know.By the way I love the Scorpion

How easy do you find the Izzy to shoot compared to your HW40? How do groupings compare? Is the Izzy front heavy? And yes, I'd love to try your pistol sometime.
