With the non de-tunned Slavia 631, i'm sure you can take out squirrels from an adequate (short) distance. Look what a Slavia can do:

And here about something done with a .177 500fps airgun, Gamo Delta. Poor wabbits hadn't got a chance:

After all, i guess i will get a 631 too, i wont wait any longer for the 634's arrival in my country. For target shooting and maybe cleaning my grandpa's farm from rats it's a splendid choice.

Slavia weights 6.8 pounds, unlike other airguns from it's power range that are much easier, so this means the recoil is not one to break down a quite solid scope like that. In fact, the scope can be used on much powerfull guns with no problems, so it's unlikely that it won't hold up well on a Slavia.
Anyway, i think it's more fun to shoot a Slavia without a scope. After all, it sure is accurate enough to use the open sights, and it shoots best on short to medium distances, so you will hit the target no problem.

Fitco has informed me that all of their scopes should withstand the recoil of any "high powered" spring rifle. Of course I don't believe them, but the 631 isn't a high-powered air gun anyway, so I think it would probably be fine.

They also told me that if any of their scopes do break from the recoil of a spring gun, it would be covered under the 3-year warranty.

Don't forget the CZ631 has an uncommon sized dovetale on it, so you'd need to get special mounts for the scope.

I'm been using a cheap Bushnell 3-9x40mm scope on my 631 for about two years, no problems.

Here's a pic.

Ive been using a 3-9 Tasco scope on my HW30 that I bought over the border for 28.00 U.S. I think that walmart sells it here for about $34.95. My HW30 shoots at about 630fps and this scope has been on it for about 3500 shots. Only problem is you have to loosen the front lens retaining ring and turn the lens mount until it focuses at 10 yards, It is factory focused for a .22LR at 50 yards to infiniti.
