Patriot

Well I have 15 meter distance in my basement and when I shoot my CR150, 2240 Carbine, CR 600, Drozd FA, my 4 year old complains to Mom and the cats run away! Now I think CO2 is just way louder due to expanding gas. My Patriot .22 doing between 850 and 920 fps depending on pellets is very quiet it appears the majority of noise is the spring. Some say it is violent I know the 2 stage trigger is smooth, but it is a nasty recoil as most magnum springers are. Firing outside it is way quieter then CO2 guns, trick is USE heavy pellets I have now standardized to 21G Kodiaks. On a side note, I opened up the transfer port on my CR150, strenched the hammer spring and with 21G .22 Kodiaks pellets it hammers a pellet around 400 pages (498 fps would be my guess) in a phone book. I am really impressed with the power and accuracy of the CR150 ($45.00 at a Flea Market), it is real close to being my favorite and rivals my CR600, I guess I miss my old MK1 but it seems the CR150 has more power than my old MK1??
