Remember guys the May 24 weekend is coming up fast.
They want to establish higher prices now so people can't say they are being ripped off.
At my CTC 12 foot section of 3 inch drainage pipe just went form $16.95 to $24.95. Come July/August it will be $34.95.
TV dinners go from $2.49 to $3.69 at price chopper.
Why should they be any different than the gas companies?
This is a yearly ritual.
At CTC sporting goods of any kind especially airguns have always been overpriced.

Can't even find in stores around here. :( For a long time.

Does it mean:
-Crosman Canada jacked the price up (still sell for US$50 or ~Cdn$57 in US)?
- model is going to be discontinued?
-CT is going to have a sale on them soon? :D

Yeah, in general CT has awful prices, I never buy anything there except when it's on sale. Only thing is, some places are even worse...

I think the 2240 is still a pretty good gun for $90 or whatever, it's just a bit grating when it sells for under $60 everywhere in the States. So buy em there if you can, leave em sealed and declare them at the border.

But what I noticed is you can practically buy all the 2240 parts from Crosman and assemble the gun from parts for close to what the gun sells for here now. So if you're going to do just about any mods, like breech or barrel change, it may be cheaper to just order all the parts for the whole gun separately at the beginning. In any case, it's a good learning process to assemble one of these, pretty simple and hard to screw up...not for everyone, but if you plan on stripping it anyway...
