One reason to own the Beretta is you can have 10 shot magazines. Centrefire rifles are limited to only 5 shots (no limit with rimfire) , but since the Storm uses the same mags as Beretta 92/96 handguns you can user them in Storm.

Btw if there was a pellet air pistol with over 500fps and barrel length of under 106mm it’d be a prohib

BUT I’m pretty sure the limit is 4.2ft-lb not 7.5 :(
The barrier is still <500fps so will be PAL until it comes in .22 if ever.
Start looking for a 600 :)
I got one now :) :)

Thats a Beretta CX4 Storm rifle, a 9mm carbine rifle, not an airgun. http://www.cx4storm.com/index.aspx?m=53&did=85

As far as I know you need a PAL to buy one and no one knows that it will even be available in Canada in non-PALL (sinse Canada i a fairly small market)

btw is the origial Beretta Storm a restricted firearm?
They are restricted, and totally not available in Canada. The reason is the "Assault Rifle" like appearence, and the fact it uses pistol mags and pistol ammo.

EDIT: I will try to read the whole thread in the future, since you gents alreadty knew that was a Beretta.

I find this is very confusing, some gun's club would allowed only 5 shots in a handgun regardless centrefire or rimfire (in Caledon) and another would allowed 10 shots (in Hamilton). I should go and check out Oakville.

Hi Ace12GA, welcome to the forum.
Are you referring to CX4 - "totally not available in Canada" ?
I saw the first one months ago at LeBaron. Last week I was holding one at AL's guns shop in Hamilton and my friend is still debating to get the 40 cal. CX4 since it would be the same cal as his Glock22, I have a feeling he will. The price there is $ 999.00 CAD + txs.

Hmm.. Well thats news to me, I called my local firearms officer several months ago to ask about it, and was told it was restricted, you can't have one, etc.. I'm actually glad to be proven wrong on that one.

Cheers.
