Throw them away and get a proper steel Crosman breech with a built-in scope rail.

Didn't we discuss this with you already????

i have a variation 1 of the crosman 1322, it is not compatible with a new breech, airsmith already looked into it

so my only way to scope this gun is with the crosman mounts.

so, like i asked before: how do i make these things fit tight?

Perhaps, I sounded a wee bit harsh but that's the truth...those 451 mounts or whatever they're called ain't worth spit...return them if you can....better off with iron sights than with scope mounts that don't work.

It sound strange to me but those Crosman intermount 457MT works great on my 2289 pumper with a 3-7x20 scope.
They have been on my 2289 for 3 years and about 1000 shots.
May be if you Crazy-Glue them there :?:

Here is an old remedy that sometimes works. Rough up the contact surfaces inside the mounts (sand paper or Dremel). Use some silicone sealant between mounts and barel/tube. Do not overly tighten screws or the sealant will get squished out. With some effort the mounts can still be removed.
