If the B7 is built on the same action as the B3, then why is the .22 Cal B3 listed as having such a low fps compared to the .22 Cal B7??

My XS-B3 shoots an honest 500fps with 14.3gr pellets.

The BAM company brochure that I have from Sunny rates the B3 and B7 both at 410fps in .22 caliber and 540fps in .177 caliber.

LeBaron was rating the .22 B3 and B7 at 475fps and 480fps, respectively.

FunSupply was rating the .22 B3 and B7 at 550fps and 500fps, respectively.

I have seen other ratings by other deals. Choose the numbers that make you happiest :D

OK, cool, so You're saying they actually do shoot the same fps? I was just asking cause on the actual Xisico site it lists the b7 at a sweet 580 fps in .22 Cal and the B3 at 410 fps in .22 Cal. I was wondering is there any reason for that or is it just a typo?

The B7 I got from Sunny straight out of the box was shooting on average 440 with 13.9g Xisico brand pellets.....after a little TLC it now shoots on average 480 with 14.3 crsm wads.....I did use a chrony.....great for plinking pop cans and the occasional apple on a fence post out to maybe 30 yards....this is done with open sights.....never could get a scope to stay put on that gun......lots of fun.....NEVER FULLY COCK THIS GUN WHEN LOADING THE PELLET...use the elbow of your right arm to secure the cocking lever when putting your fingers into the open breach and keep fingers clear of the cocking arm when closing the action.....experience can be a hard teacher
