1377c

To my understanding a longer barrel can be put on the 1377. Which barrel would that be? If there is more than one kind that can be put on which one is recommened?

And also I saw on the favourite airgun links sticky a page about hotrodding the 1377 and 1322 has anybody tried it and does it make much of a difference? In other words does it work if done right?

I'm not a newbie to airguns. I'm just one of those guys who has to get the last ounce of fps out of his airgun.

Thanks for any info you guys can give me.

The only other longer .177cal barrel is the 24" barrel from the 1760. If want it shorter, you have to cut it and re-crown it. If you want .22cal, there the 14" from the 2250/2289 and the 24" from the 2260. Switching the 1377 from .177cal to .22cal requires a new .22cal bolt.

It is best to mod CO2 guns rather than pump guns like the 1377, because to get the gain in velocity, you have to do a lot more pumping. This can get old pretty fast.

Thanks for the info. But if I still want to power mod it then will the tricks off that site work?
