Nice Nice Nice !!!
Where did you get the Cheek pads for the skeleton stocks?
Re: Nice Nice Nice !!!
Thanks.
They were cut to size, slit and held in place with a lenght of high strength double sided tape. Looks seamless.
Those are high quality, bicycle foam grips from CT.Chase wrote:Where did you get the Cheek pads for the skeleton stocks?

Thanks guys.
I have been screwing around with these Crosman guns for more then three years. Back then, there wasn't as much choices, the selection of air guns available in Canada was dismal. I pretty well built what I wanted with the Crosman parts. They are great fun and tons of possibilities.
Man, look at us now. Lot of airgun choices and accessories, we have the Xisico products, new stuff from Baikal, HW, CZ, Crosman, Daisy, etc; and more to come. \:D/
Jan you can get the JM Apex brakes from: http://www.airguns.citymax.com/page/page/1205004.htm
Keep an eye for them on sale. Last time I got them for $12US a piece. They are well made and finished. Sure beats making my own.

I use the barrel band for the 2250 to mount the front. Basically the some mounting method as the 2250. However, you need two holes similar to the 2250 to mount the forestock. To do this, I made two horizontal slots in the plastic channel in the forestock, one at the front and one at the back. Two 16GA sheet metal tabs with a hole were fabricated and then JB welded into the slots made. The hole on these tabs were used to secure the stock. Very sturdy.Exoce†wrote:Hey ETA,
When you were mounting the 2289 forestock on the 2260 tube did you just use the 2250 forestock hardware or was there some fabrication involved?
thanks
The 2289 forestock have a very nice wide comfortable shape. I like it a lot. I might even convert the 2250 stock on the other rifle to the 2289 stock.
