Don't know if you guys knew about this, seems like a good deal.
Are these accurate guns?
Also i noticed they have these diabolo pellets in "bargain bin", who makes these?

Crosman 357: $49.99 @ sirmailorder.ca
Hi Webstien,
I heard the Cr357 can be quite accurate. Many owners claim good accuracy but I tested one that did not impress me.
There is a hinge between the rear sight and front sight. You can imagine the possible problems once the lock-up wears.
The indexing hand also wears out on these pistols. Tim at Mac-1 has stated they are good for around 5000 shots and then the plastic hand usually fails. A friend of mine had this happen to his Cr357.
Another friend of mine had a Cr357 that failed to fire after only 3 weeks. The powerlet punctured but the gas did not get to the valve. He sent it to Crosman Repair in Ontario and was charged $30 to replace the "valve filter" and get things working again. It worked fine for another couple of weeks. Then it did the same behaviour. I think he got fed up and tossed the pistol in the closet. Other shooters seem to be pleased with their Cr357 pistols.
I think airsmith has some older Crosman 38T or 38C pistols for sale. These might be worth serious consideration.
I can't see any pic of the pellets you are asking about. I dunno what the package looks like. They could be Ruko/Gamo or CZ Boxers or...

Hi Webstien,
I found my old CR357 Mini-Review on a floppy disc. Some shooters may have better results with their CR357 but this is what I got from this example. This is the pistol that was sent back to Crosman for repair and then it broke again.
--------------------------------------------------------
Crosman 357 - 4" and 8" Barrels
All shooting was done at 70F degrees with about 45-60 seconds between shots.
VELOCITY
4" Barrel - Single Action
Copperhead WC (7.9gr) - 352, 353, 353, 355, 354, 353
Geco (6.8gr) - 374, 368, 373, 371, 376, 376
8" Barrel - Single Action
Copperhead WC (7.9gr) - 331, 436, 430, 422, 424, 422, 423 (I shot one extra because of the slow shot)
Geco (6.8gr) - 412, 462, 459, 456, 447, 429, 453, 459 (I shot a couple extra)
Geco (6.8gr) - 407, 455, 448, 459, 445, 443, 422 (second try)
H&N Match (7.7gr) - 390, 439, 387, 440, 439, 436, 421, 452 (another slow shot so I shot extra again)
SUMMARY:
8" Barrel - 425fps with 7.9gr, and 455fps with 6.8gr pellets
4" Barrel - 353fps with 7.9gr, and 375fps with 6.8gr pellets
I think maybe the valve is sticking a bit and causing the few weird velocities or maybe it's the 8" barrel. I may try again in mid-summer after it has a couple thousand pellets through it. Things should smooth out with use.
ACCURACY
All shooting was done at 10 meters and all groups were 6 shots each. Groups were measured center-to-center. Shooting was done single action while the gun was clamped into a Black and Decker Workmate.
RESULTS (ctc):
4" Barrel
Crosman Premier lt - 1.65", 1.75"
Crosman Supermatch - 1.2", 1.8", 1.15"
H&N Finale Match (7.7gr) - 2.0", 2.2"
8" Barrel
JSB Match - 1.55", 1.9"
H&N Finale Match - 1.5", 1.7", 1.35", 1.0"
Crosman Supermatch - 1.25, 1.0, 0.90"
Crosman Premier lt - 2.8" yuck!
I only tested a small variety of pellets so it's possible that another type would produce much better groupings.
This CR357 seems to like the Supermatch pellets and groups of about 1" at 10 meters are quite possible. Other pellet types seem to hover around the 1.5"-2" size.
I didn't think the 357 would be a 1/4" or 1/2" shooter so these results are satisfactory. Other owners of this pistol may have different results.

I picked one of these up at SIR a couple weeks ago!
The accuracy actually isn't that bad from ten meters. It also has a nice ten-shot clip and it averages 80-90 shots per powerlet so it's good for short-range pop can mayhem. I've put 500 shots through it with no problems whatsoever.
I haven't touched it since I picked up my Xisico B4-2, though. I guess I just like rifles more.
If anyone wants the .357, I'll sell it complete with hardshell case, 25 powerlets and 500 pellets (unopened box) for $75 plus shipping.

Great! I read this post and now I own a 357. For $49 how can you go wrong. I stopped by S.I.R. on my way to work and took a look at one. I really debated cuz I really don't need another airgun, but I like to shoot with my kids, and this makes it real easy for them to fire off a bunch without having to reload it all the time.

Simply put, single action means you have to cock the hammer every time you want to fire. Like in cowboy westerns where the gunslingers are smacking down on their six-shooters after every shot to cock the hammer so they can rapid-fire.
Double action means that pulling the trigger also cocks the hammer for the shot, at the expense of a slightly heavier trigger pull, so you can just keep firing as fast as you can pull the trigger.
