well Im not really an airgun newbie, Ive owned about 7 different airguns at one time or another. I used to shoot the real steel as well years and years ago when our gun laws were a little more sensible. But I digress, my question is this. What is the typical lifespan of an airgun? How long will it take before you have to replace anything, seals etc. I know this is a broad question but for one who never hung onto any of my airguns till they didnt work I just wondered how long these typically last.
Ive got my one beeman now that Ive had for a year, that I plan on keeping, and Im anxiously waiting to pick up my dream walther lever action on the weekend, which I will never sell, in fact truth be known I'll probably put it next to my bed the first 2 weeks or so...

Oh wait, Im keeping it a secret for awhile from the wife, so it'll probably be hidden somewhere , where I can look at it and hold it when my wife's not around...kinda of like a mistress
