Hi JezX,
No, not with CO2, I don't have an adaptor to fit it.
Yes, I know what you're saying same here too going nuts and I end up putting the gun back in the box for now so I don't think about the damn pump with CP.
Don't feel bad because you don't have one which means you still got your money in the bank .....
thx.

I cleaned the barrel on My hw100 and the groups opened out to 5"at 50 yds!, so watch out for that. Took only 10 shots to lead it up again and back to 1/2" groups at 50yds.

Barrells will usually change immediately after cleaning either tightening or opening.

Your barrel does not seem to like being cleaned. Generally you will need 20 to 40 shots thru before it stabalises.

Cleaned the barrel o f my HW100 - amazed at how much it was leaded. took about 4 patches before it started to come through looking clean.

Havnt shot it yet so dont know if this will open the group. I am expecting it to as it was shooting fine before I cleaned it.
You will only ever shoot one shot in your life - and thats the one up the barrel now....All that have gone before you can do nothing about. It's a here and now deal

I can remember when mine looked like that

Well done sniper ……. I can assure you that it’s a fine gun 8) .

I see that you have the pump adaptor that normally does not come with the gun ….. HW only supply the fitting that is OK with the 232bar air bottles …………… if you get a 300bar bottle then you need a spacer for the DIN fitting if you go direct into the bottle.

I now have a long barrel on order and I am also thinking hard about fitting the fixed Webley Venom air cylinder with probe fill (its also more volume and lighter)……….. you will find that the small O ring takes a hammering with the continual removing of the cylinder. The venom web site is worth a look as they do a custom special of the HW100.

Also be aware that the action body is aluminum and some folk managed to cross thread the cylinder (it’s a fine thread :x as opposed the the coarse thread you would normally expect in aluminum). If this happens than HW sleeve the action with a steel insert …….. yours may already have this as I thought that they were going to do it as standard on the MkII’s

Hi Bob (GPS Guru),

Thank you for the advice.

Sounds good with the long barrel, I was just thinking about it this morning.

The fixed Webley Venom air cylinder and lighter even better. This is the weight problem on HW100 is mostly on the cylinder. The gun itself is actually very light.

You're right, mine does have the steel insert.

Where can you get the 300 bar bottle and the spacer ? Do you have picture ?, I'm just wondering since I can't see the availability here.

Thx.

The threads on my Hw100 stripped so it was sent back to Germany and a steel insert was put in the aluminium body. The cylinder had a new threaded end as well. Because of this I sold the refurbished cylinder and bought a venom one which is about 11 ounces lighter and has a quickfill but no manometer gauge. Although everybody raves about the improved balance, in my hands the gun is now quite unstable and too light at the front so in some respects not as good to shoot as it was. I can of course add weight to the gun and have put a steel moderator on so I will give it more weight at some time and see how that feels.
