By 5 p.m. last night it had been stripped down and degreased, I polished all the sharp machined edges and the cylinder and piston, and reassembled and lubed the gun with the 2 spacer discs behind the seal removed to get slightly greater air volume and put a washer in the piston before the spring to get more spring pressure and greater piston weight.
This gun is now shooting 10 shot group the size of a dime at 10 yrds. Still smoking a little but that will hopfully settle down over time. It now completely flattens the pellet in the trap
