you have too many airguns when..
You know you've got too many airguns when shooting day comes around and you are trying to slim it down to only taking a few. I love them all so much I can't decide!! Gah.. 1st world problems I know. Does anyone else have a system for this? Maybe some sort of rotational system? I know 2 which will be coming for sure, but after that.. no clue.. OHH! THE HUMANITY! Bringing a new shooter.. so maybe one of my nitro pistons or an MSP should come along? What do you guys think?
Re: you have too many airguns when..
When you buy a rifle or pistol without realizing you already have the exact same rifle in the closet, in a gun case that you find 3 months later and had completely forgotten about.. Same model, same caliber.Darkstar wrote:You know you've got too many airguns when.................
I have quite a few duplicates, but normally they are purchased deliberately...unlike the above
Pro-tip: Start an Excel spreadsheet and keep it up to date! Very handy for pellet type \ weight as well.

Get to know your gun before buying another, build a good relationship with it, and don't tell the others guns about it...

You have too many airguns when you run out of room in the gun safes and need to be creative in order to hide the "leftovers". Few days ago while reaching up to a space near the ceiling I find a springer I had no recollection of putting there, some time back.
No, no, it was bigger than that! It looked like a weird monkey-dog thing!

Too many guns?? Never!
The problem is too few targets and not enough trigger time. LOL
Have a great shooting day!
Cheers

Never know what's going to come crawling out of the woodwork then.. Jeez, I thought i had a problem, but you guys are all apparently way worse than me so I'm just going to have to buy more to play catch up.. Ohh darn.

Enough room is interesting limitation to use.Joolz wrote:You have too many airguns when you run out of room in the gun safes and need to be creative in order to hide the "leftovers". I thought my gun lockup was full, but when my hunting buddy passed away, I stored all of his along with mine, until his widow could pass her P.A.L. along with classification for restricted handguns as well. She was upset to get one question wrong on both rifle and handgun tests for of total of 2 errors. The point, is I found my poor little gun room could actually hold another 150 guns, so - I found that I am no where near capacity. Nice to be in THAT category.

When after 25 years of marriage you never told your wife all those wooden and steel ammo crates she helped you move out of dad's reloading room when my parents moved off the farm. Actually belonged to you. And the coĺlection continues..lol
May the cry of the pack be with you upon your hunt

On my phone I keep a list of my airguns and my pellets.
Too often I find myself buying stuff i already have.
My next chore will be to go through my collection to sell off the ones i don't shoot.

Re: you have too many airguns when..
I thought I had enough guns but in the last 2 months have bought 5 of them. One was a lemon though so it doesn't really count
There's still one that I really want bad but can't get a hold of. I keep telling myself if I get it then I can stop buying the others. Yeah right
Time will tell.

Re: you have too many airguns when..
LOL. you know yo have to many airguns when you reply to a thread like this saying you have just bought 5 and afterwards remember another one. So I have bought 6 in the last 2 months.
I better start writing this stuff down
