Wanted a 2240/2260 Pericing Knob

I assume you know that the 2240, 2250, and 2260 front caps are all different lengths.... and that the piercing is done by a pin in the valve....

Well that what crosman calls them. And actual 2250-013 is the same part number for a 2240/ 2250 and a 2260 ( minus the filler rod assembly )

I was not aware the "extensions" are a separate piece.... they must be pressed in.... They certainly don't fall out of the end cap, or come apart easily....

I ended up ordering from Gravel. But 2250-013 is the same part # for the 2250 and the 2240 but no extension despite a longer tube, and the 2260 there is a part number for the filler rod assembly as well the knob piercing. But always if you use the rod filler assembly get the whole thing.

I you can't buy the filler rod separately, why sell the cap?.... I don't get it....

It's Gravel...

2250 cap I bought had the rod in it. (Yes, pressed in.) Have never bought the other ones.
