BTW - does anyone have an idea of approximately how long you can safely leave it pumped up three times before you risk damaging it at all...?

It's springers that carry those worries. The theoretical answer is virtually forever. In fact, many recommend storing pneumatics with a pump or two (on, say, a 10-pumper) in the tube.

why would you want to leave it with three pumps in it for a long period of time :?

In order to have it ready for some light pest control on a friends property without the noisy sound of it being pumped up while in the field...

Well - I left it pumped up TWO times overnight the previous night and went to fire it last morning...and NOTHING; no pressure at all - just the trigger being pressed back and nothing happening!

So I tried last night to pump it up with THREE pumps and went to fire it a few minutes ago - and again NOTHING; no pressure at all and just the trigger being pressed back...

So - it appears that my Zoraki will NOT hold pressure for a long period of time...

:(

you said you only wanted to leave it with some pumps for a short period
my impression was a couple minutes in between shots at a time not overnight :?
you may have messed up the valve, is there any air hissing out when you pump it..

Well she is working just as well as ever at 3 pumps - still hitting very hard!

I guess I will try shorter periods of time and see how it goes... :?
