CO2 dem effects
How much effect does say only +8 C compared to +21 C

Take my 2240 mod from warm house and with in 10 minutes things go bad like dropping 1” or so from when gun was warm

It will also depend on your rate of fire.... The faster you pull the trigger, the faster the temperature of the CO2 will drop as the liquid boils off.... and with the velocity related to the temperature and pressure it quickly becomes noticeable.... If you only shoot about once a minute, the temperature, and velocity, will stabilize after about 10 shots.... If you shoot every 10-15 seconds (or faster), it will drop for the entire cartridge....

The pressure at 8*C is only 600 psi, compared with 850 psi at 21*C....

Thanks knew there had to be a reason for change of impact.
So if one waits a minute between shots this will not happen in colder weather?
So this effect doesn't happen in warm weather I assume.

You will always get some cooling effect when shooting with CO2.... read what I wrote about how rate of fire affects that.... How fast you shoot will affect how much velocity you lose while shooting....

In addition to that effect, you will get less velocity in cold weather than in normal.... and more velocity in hot weather....

Welcome to CO2....
