Re: Benjamin steel eagle shockey np2 .22
Anybody? How do you take the steel eagle apart. Do you start with the plug pin and if so how do you get it out?
Re: Benjamin steel eagle shockey np2 .22
you will most likely need to make yourself a press, i did my with 2x6 |_________| like so 2 pieces of 4" and one longer about 16-18" put some good wood screws get yourself a treaded rod at hardware store and 2 nuts thats fits it, drill a hole at the height you want to put the rod to be and use it as a press push a lilttle bit on the end of the ram remove that lock pin and untread the rod until the ram comes loosesticker wrote:Anybody? Should help. You can also make a press in a bind. Using a scissor jack from your car, some scrap wood and a door jam/frame.sticker wrote:How can one take the np2 apart?

Thanks. Ok I made one with a canadian tire pipe clamp. Works very easy.
Is the hole in the piston? or the gas spring. I'm guessing the gas spring.

Ok. So I thought about it a little more and it seems the piston end is where the hole to be filled is. Cleaned it out with degreaser and mixed JB Weld and pushed some in and wiped it clean. We'll see in the morning.

Piston, or else the gas would leak out.sticker wrote:Thanks. Ok I made one with a canadian tire pipe clamp. Works very easy.

Thanks. I shot about a hundred through it yesterday and today took it apart to see if the jb weld held and it was perfect.
