Cp-1m pistol

I was interested in this co2 pistol sold by Mrodair.com but they won't ship to Canada, apparently had trouble at customs even though it's rated less than 500fps. I looked on the manufacturer website and they showed that there is a distributor for the snow peak air guns in Edmonton. They gave me his email and I contacted him (Eric is his name), and he replied that he'd look into possibly ordering some in. I thought maybe others here might be interested so I figured I'd post his email in case anyone else wants to encourage him to order some. This pistol comes with a magazine as well as a single shot tray. It's sold by mrodair for $89 US with free shipping in the states, so it'll be interesting what kind of price they would go for here.

I've seen a few people on here bought them from scopesandammo.com when he got a few in, and apparently didn't order more because something with the safety wasn't functioning well?
Anyway if anyone that has one wants to chime in with your opinion on them, welcome!

Yeah! That's what I'm thinking too. Much beyond that and I'll be feeling cheated at how cheap the US guys can get them for, lol.

Being a collector I purchased a single shot and a multishot version . There is no problem with the safety as there is no safety . Mrod air must be on the buzz from this thread as they are now $99 . Some members have successfully . received them from here .

Thanks! So far I can't get the shipping option to work to check the final price but once I do I'll post the price. Would be great if a dealer started selling these guns in Canada. They have some nice looking pcp rifles as well.

Well, I ended up taking the plunge!
Ordered from the Silesia shop, $150cad shipping included! (and PayPal fee.) .22 repeater version.
Was so cheap, couldn't pass it up, though probably should have lol.
They have a new website for the airguns.

395pln shipping included which works out to $142, but by the time PayPal charges the conversion it's around $150. Guess we'll see what kind of duties there end up being, and whether they let it through customs. The 22 is rated at 400fps on the box so shouldn't be a problem you'd think.

Well, thanks to Pelsby for his help with pictures! The Cp-1m was stuck in customs and I sent a letter with some pictures of the specifications being under 500fps and my receipt, and this morning they released the gun, so it should be here in the next week or so. Looking forward to receiving it! Hopefully duties and taxes won't be too crazy!

Pistol arrived! Had to pay $25 taxes and fee. Will post pictures shortly. Nice looking gun, nice checkering. Grips are too fat for my hands though, but I don't want to mess up the nice job they did on it. The oring in the barrel caused me a lot of grief loading to start with, I thought that the magazine was the problem to start with. It also seems to catch at the transfer port so I need to do some work on it with a Dremel. The Crown also catches on the pellet when I push one through and the single shot tray had to have the stop on the bottom ground a bit to get it to line up properly. Looks like I got one assembled on a bad day lol. Hopefully I can get it fixed up. Long ways to ship it back. Not gonna happen!

Good question, haven't measured it yet for diameter. The bolt or barrel would have to be modified for an oring to seal the chamber as the cp-1m has the oring in the front end of the barrel.
