Benjamin titan nitro piston not shoot straight questions

Hello.

I have a new Benjamin titan nitro piston with center point 4x32 scope.
First i tried with different pellet but it give me 10cm ctc.
The best group was 3 shot that a bigger coin could cover, but after that keep getting hit all around the target. So not easy to adjust the scope.
50 shot is fired and it make some smoke from burned grease.
I went out and fired 50 more shot just in a safe are, not on target plate.
Now when i thougt it was maby was breaked in i shooted at target and i could not even hit the plate. So i putted on a big plate and marked a dot i Could scope on.
The bullet now hit very long to right. Before i shooted 50 shots to just break it in i hitted 15cm more to left.

Trying to figure out if that Could be normal after 50 shots and it is because it shoot more right now vs 50 shots earlier, or if the rifle/scope have a issue.

I tighten screews often, and i shoot at 20meter on sandbags.

The rifle seems to hit better now fired two shots close but i must adjust the scope long to left.

Any advice? Going to try it more tomorrow.
It is 177 cal and i use air arms field 10.3gr and barracuda 10.6gr.

There is possibility the scope is dead. They didn't like spring rifles, esp. when they dieseling.

Try another scope or iron sights; and to check the scope itself if it is ok or not - temporary put it on a PCP or CO2 rifle.

I have a Crosman 1077 that i could try the scope on.
Have read that many replace the center point but its because the cross thread get broken?

Bought the rifle discounted and wanted to see if it accurate enough to pay for a better scope...

Unfortunately from my experience and from friends experiences, I will never touch another benjamin break barrel.... specially the benjamin trail.... I find that those airguns have the worst accuracy in all of airguns.... just watch the review from teds holdover.... brutal airgun specially for the price... just watch the link...some of the shots even missed the target :S

Yes i have seen the video before.

I have used it today and now it have go 120 shots from new.
It still came some smoke from burned grease but it is less now.

Today i tried 15 shot. 3x5 shots.
The best group was 3cm ctc, and the biggest 4cm ctc.

Going from 10cm to 3cm it Could looks like it help to just break it in.
How many bullets do it take to break it in?

Since it is not a CO2 or pcp i think 1-2cm ctc

Classic accuracy from the chinese B18. So you can return it and throw the dice with another gun, or try to make this one better. The non-intrusive method I think most people use is to "break it in" which generally means shoot it ~500 times to see if it gets better, which is also a gamble. I mean odds are it will get better but will it be acceptable and it'll never be what it could be. Seems like you're getting better fast so another 100 or so will probably tell you if it has potential as-is.
I don't try to break them in, I tear the gun apart first thing and try to fix all the problems best I can w/o spending much $, and by that I mean <$5. Imo it's an instant break in plus way better than it was. Saves time and pellet $ too.
Parallax error won't be a whole lot that range but it will contribute to your problem. I would adj the parallax to your range or extend your range to 30M. Or you could use the redneck method which is to pull your eye back a bit until you see the blackness at the edge, if the blackness is even all around then the image is centered and error gone.
Barrel droop can also affect accuracy via the scope since the two are pointing in diff directions. So you should shim the scope in its mount so it points in the same general direction as the barrel.
Then there's you, the guns don't shoot like a firearm or other non-springer airguns so you have to know how to shoot it. The short version is the gun jumps around before the pellet exists so you need to hold the gun the same way each shot so it move the same. Sand bags can have a negative effect so try putting your hand or better yet your forearm on the bag, then the gun on your hand.
The trigger is a big complaint from most everyone, and while not technically affecting the guns accuracy, it affects your accuracy. Plus it's really just plain annoying. Lots of diff fix options for the trigger.
Also note the barrels slop, mostly side to side movement which can be minimized by custom fitting some metal washers to replace the oem plastic.
The main and breech seals leak so imo best to fix them. Leakage costs power but if they leak differently shot to shot it'll affect accuracy too, so best all around to fix 'em.
The barrel is imo the guns biggest flaw, and its quality can be anywhere from not good to embarrassing. You can do a visual, especially on the muzzle end. I use a 10x eye loupe with a light in the breech end. Look for damage, like dents or whatever at the crown and in the rifling on down to say 10mm deep. You should also slug the barrel which is simply using a dowel or cleaning rid to push a pellet thru the barrel. Feel the roughness and tight spots. Ideally it would be smooth and consistent all the way but that's not going to happen. You have to decide if you want to return it, buy a new barrel, or try to fix it as best you can. I always try fixing first, then if that fails I buy a new barrel and fix that one.
To fix, and I use that word loosely, I sand it. All the above and especially sanding is a bit much to get into here, but I have the info in a guide with pix and arrows to better explain. chevota at hotmail and it's yours, just say who you are, what gun, caliber, 500fps or full power etc. It should answer all your questions and hopefully net the best performance from the gun

Chevota, that was many great advice!
I have never opened a rifle like that so its best to not do maby.
I have see people on YouTube remove the spring from the trigger and replace it with a Rc bearing, that is a easy mod.
But after research people say the trigger could be dangerous and fire by itself by a little bump or shake. If that is true i dont want to do it. If not i would like to do it.

Dont know if i can return it since it have been weeks since i bought it. If it hit too bad they probably take it back.
Could it be little better then i want to keep it.
1-2cm ctc is ok enough to hit targets. But 4cm is to mutch.

Its a cheap rifle, so it cant hit hole in hole but i thought it would hit 5 shots inside a coin..

It is true about the trigger mod, but you can test it and if unsat you can adjust it. You can adjust by getting a smaller bearing, or grinding on the sear it pushes on, or bending that sear. There should be two common sizes bearings people get, the most common and one size smaller for those guns the regular bearing is unsafe in.
The guide I mentioned also has several trigger mods in it, but not the bearing/washer mod since it's already all over the net. It will explain how to test it to see if it's safe, and adjust it if needed. Either way, that or any of the mods will make the trigger less safe, but it's overly safe now (which is the problem) so you just have to decide how far you want to push it.

Put a pellet in the barrel, close it and then open it to see if the pellet is being clipped of crushed when closing.
