Don't know if anyone has thought of or reported this before but anyway, it won't stop me from claiming it as my brilliant idea...
Just added to my new CP88, white dots on the sights that I made using a leather punch to cut circles out of a sheet of labels. The trick is to use just enough pressure to cut the label off the backing sheet and then you fish it out of the end of the punch with a pointed tweezers and stick them in place.
Maybe I should have used a smaller size here (this was second smallest) but will give them a try first.
I tried drilling dimples to fill with paint, but found it very difficult to get a perfectly round circle. I also happen to have two of those punches (they were on sale, cut me some slack)

I was thinking of fixing them in place with a coat of varnish or super glue but never really had a problem with them moving.
Something else that would work well are dots punched from model decals, the sort that slide off the backing in water. There could be a good amount of swearing getting them in place though.
