This is a comment from a Pyramid Air customer who purchased.
Replica Air also has a table top video up and the look junky to me.
Things I liked: This gun feels similar to the real thing and it looks pretty good, but not great. I haven't shot it so I cant comment on accuracy.
Things I would have changed: I would advise Pyramyd Air to add more information on what you are buying. I thought it was the same quality as the black 1911 model. This is a piece of junk compared to the solid black 1911 Sig Sauer. Had I known it was cheap junk, I sure wouldn't have ordered it. But between return shipping cost and 20% re-stocking cost, I will just keep it. Even the bb magazine is cheap plastic. The CO2 lever flops around. It comes in a clam shell package (cheap). Plus... you can't field strip it. It's almost worthless compared to what I normally buy. This SHOULD NOT be advertised as a replica and should sell for half the price as the solid black model. This gun "MIGHT" be worth $49.95. But that's still a bit high for what you get.
What others should know: If you want a Sig Sauer 1911 pistol then get the solid black model. I just love the black model and It is well worth $110.00... but don't waste your money on this one. I almost want to throw this "Max Michel" gun in the trash.
Max Micheal and Spartan .45's not so good.

When the 425-hp "street Hemi" version hit the street in 1965, it was akin to taking an M230 chain gun to an arcade shooting gallery

I just watched the review by replica airgun on YouTube, I like the color of the Spartan version, but the plastic magazine, one non-working safety seems a bit silly in a post KWC industry especially for the price.

Thanks for the heads-Up, was considering buying both!
I can recommend the Umarex SA10

That is "oddball" enough to interest meejackyou wrote:Thanks for the heads-Up, was considering buying both!

I saw funny molding marks on the hammer in the RAG video IIRC, and the plastic mag AND lack of a drop out combined mag are not very impressive.
I do like the colour, but not enough to buy it.
My bet is these will flop hard. Maybe years ago folks would rave over them, but as you say, not in today's world. Shame because if I was stuck on a desert island I am 51% sure the one pistol I would take is a .45, Colt SAA a close second.
Maybe they will make it respectable and then as usual bring out the pellet version.
